CAPTCHA

Tagged uses CAPTCHA codes across the site to distinguish human from machine input, typically as a way of thwarting spam and automated extraction of data from websites.

Pets:

These CAPTCHA requests are triggered when a user purchases an excessive amount of pets in a short amount of time.

Such a high number of transmissions to the site can interfere with the overall functionality of Pets and these CAPTCHAs are designed to prevent this from occurring.

The best way to avoid these CAPTCHAs from blocking your Pets play is to disable any scripts that send out a large amounts of pet purchases.

Other areas of the site:

You may be asked to complete CAPTCHA requests at certain intervals as a security measure to fight spammers on Tagged.

If you are asked to enter a verification code, please complete the CAPTCHA challenge. If you are unable to type the CAPTCHA code that appears, click the "Refresh" button to receive a new code.

If you hit the CAPTCHA fail limit, you will not be able to access the site for a period of time. If this occurs we are unable to take any action, you will need to wait until that period of time expires.
