Browse Basics

One of the best ways to find new Friends on hi5 is to Browse through our member directory.  (Note: Members will only appear in Browse if their Search/Browse Privacy settings allow you to see them).

To access Browse, just click "Browse" from your Nav Bar. Before getting started, optimize your experience by settings your filters. You can easily set your filters by click on the filters button in the upper left-hand corner of the page. Filters will allow you to choose the attributes for users that appear when you are browsing through profiles. You can use the primary filters to display your results within one or more of the following areas:

  • Age Range
  • Country
  • Location by city or ZIP code (ZIP search is only available for U.S. Locations)

If you want to filter your results even further, click the “Advanced” link directly below the “Gender” field to access the secondary filters, including:

  • Relationship Status (Single, Dating, In a Relationship, Engaged, Married, It's Complicated)
  • Ethnicity (African American, Asian, Caucasian (white), East Indian, Hispanic/Latino, Middle Eastern, Native American, Pacific Islander, Other)
